He pursued a goal to preserve the beautiful,
unique, or horrific nature of the animals found in
rural Illinois. These interests lead to receiving
an MBA in sculpture from Illinois State
University, with an intense study of the figure.
In 1994 Jim started developing exotic fine art
displays. Jim draws his inspiration for his art
pieces from the human body. Most of his work
starts out as castings made directly off the nude
model. Jim then works with the natural lines and
curves of the human form to create evocative
works of art that range from the softly sensual to
the surrealistic.
